Changes to Markets and Research

You may have noticed some changes to Markets and Research section on the TD Direct Investing website. These changes have been made to provide you with richer data and more logical navigation to help you make decisions quickly and easily.

The key changes are on the Company Data & Charts page. The improved search function on this page is similar to that on the Funds and ETF Quickrank pages and allows you to quickly filter down to the sectors and stocks you are most interested in.  Using the tabs on the results allows you to do quick comparisons, sort stocks by a range of criteria and then click on specific stocks to either access more detailed information or place a trade.

If you prefer the A-Z sorting of stocks this functionality has also been retained.

Many of the existing pages have also been upgraded to make navigation more straightforward, and to bring stock data into line with the way that fund data is presented. The individual Morningstar Stock Report pages now have clear tabbed navigation across the top of the page so all the data you need on a stock is in one place.  We have also improved charting with more interaction.

International stock data has been improved to bring it more into line with the UK data.

Within the Morningstar Stock Report for individual stocks, the News page now includes specific Morningstar commentary where available as well as separated Dow Jones and Regulatory news stories. Some new pages have been included such as Stock Performance, Key Ratios, Director Holdings and Filings pages. 

All of these changes have been made to give you the confidence you need when making decisions.   Please note that to get the best out of this section we advise that you use a supported browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 8.
