Understanding the Risks

Investing in foreign markets involves different risks from UK markets and in some cases the risks will be greater. In addition, the potential for profit or loss from transactions on foreign markets or in foreign denominated contracts will be affected by fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. We may receive two elements of commission in relation to international dealing - Trading Commission and our FX Charge. Please see our Rate and Charges for full details of the relevant costs.

Regular Investing

If you don’t have a lump sum to invest our regular investment option lets you make small monthly payments to your SIPP. You can purchase stocks on a monthly basis for just £1.50 commission.

You can also purchase funds, which don't incur commission but may have a Fund Manager charge.

Choose from up to ten stocks and/or funds that you wish to invest in on monthly basis.

Understanding the risks

The Most Popular Funds are measured as the total number of purchases and sales in each fund by TD clients during the month. The Most Popular Funds should not be taken as a recommendation to buy or sell any particular fund, and it is not intended to offer any form of advice. Instead it is simply an indication of the general buying and selling trends amongst some TD customers, observed during the period stated.

Understanding the risks

The TD SIPP is aimed at customers who have sufficient knowledge and experience of investing to make their own investment decisions and want to actively manage their investments. The TD SIPP is not suitable for every investor. Other types of pensions may be more appropriate.

The investment made within a TD SIPP can fall as well as rise and you may end up with a fund at retirement that’s worth less than you invested. You can normally only access the money from age 55. The tax treatment of a SIPP is based on individual circumstances and may change in the future.
